Meet Charity Ofosuhene

Building borderless impact at the intersection of technology, people, and strategy

My secret power is my ability to think, lead, and build across borders, connecting technology, people, and ideas in ways that create impact far beyond geography

I am a product and digital transformation leader and a Women in Business Scholar MBA candidate at The Wharton School and HEC Paris, committed to shaping how technology, people, and policy intersect across industries. I work at the intersection of product, digitalization, and go-to-market, helping organizations move from strategy to execution across global contexts. My experience spans consulting, FMCG, e-commerce, Web3, and public-sector–backed initiatives, with a consistent focus on building systems that scale beyond a single market. Over the past decade, I’ve led teams to build the digital infrastructure for companies and international organizations like the UN and US Embassy.

I am deeply committed to human capital development and advocacy. Through Tech Lead Global, I have won 3 fellowships from the US Embassy and Mastercard Foundation-partnered YALI Organization and MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship to mentor nearly 1,000 young people and engage in global leadership discussions. In 2023, I was specially invited by the British High Commissioner for a breakfast meeting to discuss matters around girls, technology, and national development. Invited by the YALI Missions Director in 2024, I joined a high-level panel with US Deputy Secretary Kurt Campbell, Ambassador Virginia Palmer, USAID’s Kitty Andang, and other leaders to discuss empowering young Africans in tech innovation across health, AI, and data.

  • Revenue growth delivered for a plant-based FMCG manufacturer by building digital infrastructure that expanded reach to 100+ locations across the U.S. Midwest
  • Increased monthly platform revenue from $1,500 to $25,000 through user research, iteration, and GTM optimization
  • Relaunched a consumer platform generating $20,000+ in sales within two weeks via an improved end-to-end user journey
  • Defined KPIs and scalability roadmaps for a two-sided marketplace supporting 250+ businesses across Africa, reducing seller onboarding time by 40%
  • Led digital automation initiatives reducing operational redundancies by 25%, supporting platforms with 100M+ reach, 700K+ social followers, and 15K+ active contacts

My borderless approach has been sharpened through work with government and international organizations operating across regions and stakeholders.

  • Served as Management Information Systems Consultant for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) West Africa, a U.S. government–backed program, leading the design and integration of an alumni management system supporting 9,000+ members and driving engagement among 3,000+ alumni ahead of launch
  • Collaborated with USAID and regional leadership in cross-functional workshops to analyze digital engagement data and identify three data-driven growth opportunities with measurable KPIs
  • Managed stakeholders for international digital training programs in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Zimbabwe, supporting women-led agribusinesses and cross-border technology adoption

Across my career, I’ve consistently built products that cross borders:

  • Led a 21-member cross-functional team as Lead Product Manager to build and launch a blockchain-enabled platform, owning product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market execution
  • Scaled e-commerce and marketplace platforms across four continents, growing seller networks to 40+ retailers and 100+ SKUs through improved onboarding and localized GTM strategies
  • Supported ERP and enterprise system implementations for North American financial institutions, strengthening operational processes and data accuracy
  • Laidlaw Scholar, HEC Paris MBA (Class of 2026); Wharton School MBA Exchange
  • Founder, Tech Lead Global, leading teams and programs impacting nearly 1,000 professionals across technology and product roles
  • Author of “Tech Hustle”, with 600+ copies sold, introducing young people to careers in technology
  • Mentored 500+ professionals through YALI’s technology career advisory initiatives
  • Marketing Vice President, Wharton Africa Business Conference, supporting digital infrastructure for 500+ attendees and 60+ speakers
  • Marketing Vice President, HEC Paris Product Management Club

I have shared my knowledge on technology, strategy, and leadership on platforms like the International Trade Center (ITC) eCommerce Global, ImpactHer, the African Digital Skills Conference, Google’s Women Tech Makers Conference (West Africa edition), USAID’s Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), Enterprise Bureau, Multimedia (Joy FM), and Yfm.
